Overview

These Terms of Use govern the use of the TagLink lost-and-found notification service.

By activating or using a TagLink tag you agree to these terms.

How the TagLink service works

TagLink provides a simple notification system to help reunite lost items with their owners.

Each TagLink tag contains a QR code which links to a secure return form.

If a finder scans the QR code they can send a message through the TagLink return form.
TagLink then forwards that message to the email address associated with the tag.

TagLink then sends that message to the owner.

TagLink does not guarantee that lost items will be returned.

The service simply provides a way for finders to contact the owner.

User responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• providing accurate activation information (such as name and email address) when activating a tag
• checking their email notifications
• responding to messages relating to lost items

Users should not use TagLink for unlawful, abusive or inappropriate communication.

Service availability

TagLink aims to provide a reliable notification service.

However, as with any online service, continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.

TagLink may occasionally need to update, maintain or modify the system.

Limitation of liability

TagLink provides a communication tool to assist with returning lost items.

TagLink is not responsible for:

• loss of personal belongings
• damage to items
• failure of a finder to return an item
• misuse of the system by third parties

If the service is discontinued

If TagLink were ever discontinued, the digital notification service would stop operating.

However the physical TagLink tags would continue to function as engraved identification tags.

Changes to these terms

TagLink may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on the TagLink website.
