From school bags and sports kit to travel luggage and workplace equipment, items frequently get misplaced or mixed up in busy environments. Traditional labels can help, but they often rely on personal contact details being written directly onto the item.
TagLink was designed as a simple alternative.
Each TagLink tag contains a QR code that allows someone who finds a lost item to send a message to the owner without seeing their personal contact details.
The goal is straightforward: make it easier for lost belongings to be returned.
Where the idea came from
The idea for TagLink started in a very familiar way.
Like many parents, we often found ourselves replacing water bottles, school bags and sports kit that had gone missing. Our son, like many children involved in school and sports activities, had a habit of misplacing things.
It quickly became clear that this wasn’t just a family problem. Coaches, teachers, parents and volunteers everywhere were dealing with the same issue.
TagLink was created to provide a simple, practical way to help lost items find their way back to their owners.
Built for everyday environments
TagLink is designed for places where belongings regularly get mixed up or misplaced.
This includes:
• sports clubs and grassroots teams
• schools and youth organisations
• travel and luggage
• workplaces and corporate environments
• events and community groups
In these environments, many people often have similar bags, bottles or equipment. TagLink provides a simple way for someone who finds an item to reconnect it with its owner.
Simple by design
TagLink has been intentionally designed to keep things straightforward.
• No apps required
• No subscriptions
• Minimal personal data
• No location tracking
The system simply enables a finder to send a message to the owner so the item can be returned.
Founders
TagLink was founded by Kuljeet and Mandy Chawla, based in Surrey, United Kingdom.
What began as a practical solution for a common everyday problem has grown into a small family-run venture focused on helping clubs, schools, organisations and travellers recover lost belongings more easily.
